Recognize What’s Wrong

Christmas banner that I saw at the church I just attended today (5/02/17) 😦

This question just for Indonesians:

Can you recognize what’s wrong in this picture?

Please, don’t make the same mistake again if you love your country (and your God-of course).

*This post as a response to #Daily Prompt: recognize

Solitude is a word that people rarely know nowadays.

Why? Because we are too busy with our achievements. We have forgotten that contemplation is the important element in our life. We have forgotten how to contemplate and reflect.

We’re be blinded by the postmodern life style and its philosophy behind. Whether we realize or not, it makes eternal burden for our soul. That’s why so many of us become depressed.

As human being, we need to find a private moment in silence. It will help and refresh our soul from all of the hectic life.

So now, find you private moment. Be silent and contemplate all the things you need to reflect. May the Holy Spirit, the Helper that God has sent, works in you.

Get the result, keep growing, and good luck.

Thanks for the Showers of Blessing

20170202_170548It has been raining since yesterday. The rain started early in the morning. It continued throughout the day and into the afternoon.

After school, when I went back home, I saw the water flowed through to overwhelm the whole street in front of our school.

Some pedestrians wore raincoats. They walked carefully because the road was slippery and wet.  But, there’re so many kids were playing around in the rain with or without the umbrellas. They’re so enjoyed the movement of flowing water, runing happily, laughing, and splashed water at each other.  Of course I was so happy to see this scene and feel the atmosphere.

Thank you, Lord of universe, for the showers of blessing You bring into our life.

Daily Prompt on February 3rd, 2017: Overwhelming

Keep it Clean…

It has been raining all day long. I love this kind of situation. 😀 🙂

Ok, now, I need to write about ‘clean’. So, this is the thing comes to my mind.

As I know (and you know :D), I love to go anywhere, anytime of day by riding my motorcycle. The reason that I love (and I’m sure everyone would agree with me:)) is you can ride anywhere you want to go and whenever you need. The other reason is you will never stuck in traffic. Yeah, it’s easy, simple, and enjoyable to ride.

But, how about the maintenance? I know a motorcycle requires a lot of maintenance. Keep it clean, regularly change the oil, check the chain and those cables, etc.  Those very important things to do if you want to keep your motorcycle. But, honestly, I’m too lazy to do those things, even just to washing and keep it clean.

This is my bad habit. Please, don’t try imitate me.

seems that it’s not good, right..? 😉 🙂

Daily Prompt for February 2nd, 2017: Clean

Resist the Temptation

Februari 1st, 2017

Yesterday after school, I had some things I need to accomplish. After completing those things, I got to my rent room and take a bath.

undangan makan D I was ready to take a bed rest because of crazy tired and sleepy when my phone was ringing. A short messages comes from my cousin’s husband. “Anaci. Syalom. Selamat malam. Ayo, mari makan malam di rumah. Mama ultah. Ditunggu kedatangannya.”

I’m confused at first. I know and of course I remember, my aunty’s birthday is on February. But in my head, the birthday’s date on 10th, not on 1st of February. So I asked him back , ‘”Benar, tanggal satu, bukannya tanggal 10?”

“Ya, hari ini. Tanggal satu.”

So, I hurried up. I took my uniform, drop some of my extra stuff into my backpack, and by motorcyle, I ride to Penfui. The rains falls down when I was still on the road.

In there, we’re sharing together until I feel fatigued and tired. I try to wait a little bit of time. I want to know the word that will appears today in daily prompt but I can’t help myself to stay longer. So, I’m going to bed early and sleeping immediately.

I’m wide awake in the morning, look out trough the window, hearing some noisy, and just realize it is raining outside. I woke up and check my phone, what’s the word would appear today? I checked it and yes, it is ‘resist’.

Wow, resist. Resist is not a familiar word to me (what I know about resist is resistor-what I learn in physics when I’m at college) so I think maybe it’s similiar with against or opposite. I ask myself, what shoul I write about resist? I’m still confused where to start.

But, something suddenly appeared in my mind. Now. This is the right time. Yes, now is the time to resist your laziness. You know, this is your struggle to getting out of your bed.  It’s raining outside and what do you want now is just stay lying in bed.

Now, you must to wake up quickly. You have to go to school. You’re a teacher. A role model for your students. No reason, no excuse for being late. So, please…please…please…You must resist the temptation…

Daily Prompt  Feb 1st, ’17:  Resist

Found TheDailyPost and Participate

Thank God, I just found this blog today, in the end of January. The first month of 2017.  I’m so glad. Of course. Penasaran, saya buka. Dan ternyata, lumayan. 😀 🙂 It could be amazing, you know. I think it’s important for me to participate in this challenges eventhough I’m not good enough in English. What do you think? 😀

Btw, today’s one-word prompt is ‘scent’ What do you think when you hear about ‘scent’? Ok, the first thought that comes to my mind when I hear about ‘scent’ was the earthy smell of rain (when the rain falls down on dry soil), the smell of a new book, plus a cup of hot coffee. Perfecto.
